First Call’s Founder Dave Wickersham has 25 years experience in environmental and hazardous response. It’s no surprise that in early 2020, his clients called on his company PPM Site Services to provide COVID-19 decontamination services to government facilities, offices, warehouses, and transit locations.
Dave was shocked to learn that his clients and industry partners were having significant trouble acquiring reputable, affordable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As the guy who solves problems, Dave’s phone “blew up” with requests for supplies and supplier referrals.
He and his team have curated a network of reliable and reputable suppliers with the best products available. For the safety of his employees, his family, and everyone around him, he leveraged his network of manufacturers, distributors, and industry thought leaders to bring high quality PPE to customers, partners, and industry personnel.
While working tirelessly to build this network, Dave’s family suffered the devastating loss of a close family member to COVID-19. The loss has given him clarity of purpose. He is driven by that loss and is devoted to curating a leading line of reliable and affordable PPE that supports businesses and organizations as they protect their employees and customers.
First Call PPE gives generously to causes and communities, including $250,000 of PPE, supplies and cleaning to the Guardian Angels in NYC, homeless centers, numerous churches and groups in need.

Dave Wickersham, Founder
Dave has more than 25 years in Environmental and Hazardous Material Response, Management and Operations. His industry leading personnel, services, and protective equipment are relied on for comprehensive emergency clean up and decontamination of spaces and fleets in the most sensitive areas. Dave is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a US Veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
Bill DeMarco, National Sales Manager
Bill specializes in Emergency Disaster Relief work and site services as a crew lead and quality control manager. Projects include 2018 for Hurricane Michael cleanup and COVID-19 site cleaning and sanitizing for PPM Site Services. He is a natural fit to be the national sales manager for First Call PPE. With an uncanny ability to balance a busy schedule of calls, zooms, warehouse tasks, he’s THE guy you want to talk to when things need done. Bill attended the University of Delaware and lives in Philadelphia.
